Bittersweet

One of my favorite students is transferring schools. I am so sad. She was not the smartest or most easy going but she had spunk. It felt great to help her in class because she always seemed to appreciate it in her own rough way. It was cute because she came in to tell me and even offered a hug!

The sweet part of the day was that I had a fun conversation with a student today.

    Student: I like your outfit, today...

    Me: Thanks!

    S: ...except for those shoes... I mean, I like those shoes but not with that outfit.
