We made ramen in class today. Yes, the instant noodles were cooked by the beakerful in science. Why? Because I needed lunch? No. It was really to study energy flow and molecular movement in a system. I really hate dumb hooks to engage kids but I guess they really can work. I mean, who hasn't made ramen? Thankfully it was interesting enough that they made some very informative posters about what they already know about energy and molecules. Hope the next few days can continue to run smoothly!

It is totally weird. Especially when I realize how much power I can wield in the class but also how little control I can have over the class. Confusing.
